- Banner System Upgrade: June 5 - 8, 2026
The Office of Information Technology will perform a Banner system upgrade from Friday, June 5 at 5 p.m., through Monday, June 8, at 9 a.m. The planned upgrade will address system updates, resolve known issues, and help ensure regulatory compliance. During this time, the following Banner services will be unavailable:
- Student Self-Service (Oscar)
- Faculty Self-Service
- Communication Management
- Attendance Tracking
- Application Navigator/Administrative Pages
- Banner Production Database/integrations.
Canvas and Identity Management will remain accessible throughout the upgrade.
Progress of the upgrade can be tracked at status.gatech.edu. If you have questions, contact the Banner team at banner-feedback@gatech.edu.

Acceptable Use Policy
Students are required to abide by the Institute's Acceptable Use Policy when using Georgia Tech's computer resources, including the registration system. As such, no student may use any unauthorized computer program or script to register for classes or attempt to circumvent the registration system in any way.
